Sleeping and Docking??

Sleeping and docking? I don't recommend it, unless you do them at separate times of the day, then by all means!

One day, you will just "get it" and docking will be easier. Stick with it and don't get frustrated, we all had to learn at some point. Personally, I would choose to sleep every night on the boat, versus at home...but my wife doesn't share my enthusiasm.

If the First Mate wouldn't squish me against the bumper so often, bed hog that he is, I'd spend every night there, too.

I guess we need a bigger boat. :huh:

This weekend we're floating to another marina Friday night for a great band, and we expect it will be a late evening. It's SOOOOOO nice to know we can dock, hang, go back to our "hotel" whenever we want, or even host an after party if we wish. So to armentb....have you closed on the sale yet? When's YOUR first sleepover?!?!?!??!

this^^^I enjoy docking so much now that it's what I look forward to most.....I love going into situations that require a fine touch on the controls...of course Vdrives AND experience help that a ton. :smt038

Although nice and log, the slant of the vee berth makes it challenging for two to sleep in when one of them is a bed hog.
We've found that the aft berth is better suited for the two of us because of it's rectangular shape.
I still like the vee berth for my solo siestas though.
