sleep arrangmet on 1998 sundancer?

Hi all,
I also have a question the 1998 290 searay sundancer it say you could slepp 6 how could this be 2 sleep on the vberth 2 in the mid cabin and 2 in ????? It has a table but that is to high dose anyone here have a 1998 290 sea ray? could you tell me how is this possible thank you for your replies....

Psst... Look at the galley seat bases... the front edge (about where your calves would be)... Then look for either extra cushions or backrest cushions that are velcroed on.

Psst? I did none seem to match the contore of the cabin table do you have a 1998 290? the only cusion I have is the 1 that converts the table in the back to a sun lounge..

I know mine is a 94 but my cushions that go on that inside table are the wall cushions in the back cabin.1 is rectangle and one has a curved side.

Does your boat have the plan 'B' floor plan?

Plan A has a convertible dinette that makes into a double birth. Plan B has a forward raised v-berth and salon couch and larger dinette table.

I think Dennis is correct, I would check the seat backrests, I believe they pull off and the table drops down and the cushions fill in the table area, It does make up into a bed....

Thanks all for your replies I have Plan B has a forward raised v-berth and salon couch and larger dinette table I did notice a long leather cusion thing but have no idea what its for? anyone have a 1998 290 that covered there table to a bed???? This is a awesome forum..

The salon couch on mine pulls out about 10" and allows for the long cushion to fit in the open space. You have the ability to sleep two in the forward v berth area two in the aft cabin and one on the salon couch.

Haven't been on one in a while, but there's only a few ways these things convert. However, someone correct me if I'm wrong, but if you have the really big table, I don't think it converts? If there are no "chocks" nor an extra table base (for support), then I don't think it does.

Unless, does the seat cushion slide/pull out a little?

You pull the salon "bench seat" along the starboard side out and the long cushion stored under the v-berth fills in the space to make a wider "berth." You need to watch that things stored under the seat don't interfere with pulling the seat out. As for two people sleeping there, they would have to be mighty skinny! Perhaps two children. I actually took the fill cushion home and use the space under the v-berth to store my canvas as I'll never have that many people sleeping on board. Better arrangement is to have camper canvas and sleep on the seats/sunpad arrangement in the cockpit.
