single issue left No Spark. ( boat cranking now, remote solenoid replaced)

Crazy question, but gotta ask... has the boat been repowered or had a different ignition put in since the original? It's been a while, but that looks like a later model MPI coil. If it is the later model ignition (has the flat top distributor cap), there is a 3 gang fuse block hanging near the ECM off the main harness. All 10 amp if I remember correctly. 1 energizes the lift pumps when the ignition goes on, 1 energizes the injection system, and 1 powers the ignition system. I had an issue where the prior owner had maintenance done and the dealer didn't reinstall the dust cap. The fuse block corroded and the engine would spin, pressure up the fuel rail, but no fire. I bought an aftermarket block with the same form factor and spliced it in the harness to remediate. This sounds a bit like your issue, but the year of the boat doesn't jive with this ignition system. I couldn't get the link to work that showed a similar system to yours.

No.. its all original. Apparently not many with the regular GM ignition.. that's part of the problem.. I do believe you're talking about the Thundebolt ignition... well all the Relays and Wiring are brandy New..
