The boat came with a b/w simrad eq32. I checked to make sure it was working, but didn't really worry too much with it otherwise.
Now, I am sure that I can't live with display.
My dilemma is this:
- I can get a raymarine blackbox, and run it into the e120, but that would require a new transducer and a lot of labor
- I can get a newer simrad eq33 (or even a larger screen eq40), becuase those units appear to use the same transducer as what i have. then, i'm looking at a display swap at the helm, which is a lot easier.
i had the high-def raymarine previously, and liked it alot.
has anyone seen a simrad eq33 color in action?
probably a cost of about 700 vs a couple thousand.
