I added some pop up cleats on the transom and used two 24" climbing slings. Very fast setup. BUT will only work with a small 2 meter dinghy like a Zodiac 200 zoom or cadet.

Interesting.
1.) Does it catch much wind when you're cruising or is it pretty stable?
2.) Can one person easily pull it out of the water and secure it?
3.) Does it rub against the trunk (or anywhere else?

It rides fairly low so doesn't catch much wind and is very stable. But I am on a lake so not much bad wind. One person can secure it to the boat, Im not going to say its real easy but can be done. It does not rub agents the trunk or anywhere else. I loaded in a series of steps first I use 48" sling on one side then I go to the other side and hook it to 24" sling then go back to first side and hook it to 24" sling. You can get the slings at a rock climbing supply store, available in many different sizes, they are very strong rated at thousands of pounds. Keep in mind this rig only weights a little over 100 lbs. motor (2.5hp) included.

Thanks, you've given me something to think about - this has become my winter project (along with adding radar to my C120).
