I knew I wanted to find a place to store the anchor light pole and boat hook other than in the bilge. I need that space for the skis and kneeboard. What I came up with was simple broom clips from the hardware store. Very common item but these broom clips were rubberized. I screwed them to the back of the flip-down arm rest in the engine compartment. To remove or replace them I put one end of the pole up the side where the main wiring harness is. The other end then just clears were the center beam and transom meet above the engine.
