My first project was the side windows that leak. I removed the rubber moulding and found silicone sealant. This has been repaired before. From the suspect area, (Lower rear corner) I find that the foam type sealant has backed off leaving a gap. My first thought before I began was to pull the window and re-seat it with Urathane (Windshield adhesive). That may be too strong compared to the foam that is in there now. I am wondering if the rubber moulding is supposed to do most of the sealing rather than the product behind the glass.

Has anyone attempted this before, or had it done with some success? I am thinking of ordering new rubber moulding for a better initial fit.

Sorry about the spelling I am on a strange computer.

I am researching the same thing. I have a 1988 270 Sundancer with a leak around both the port and starboard window. Spring project before I sell her.
If I get wind of something I will let you know.
