About two weeks ago I installed a new diaphragm on my Shurflo Extreme 5.7 gph freshwater pump. After reinstalling it, the pump ran fine with no leaks. Yesterday, while looking at my bow thruster (located in the same compartment) I noticed a fairly heavy water leak whenever the pump was running. At first I thought it was leaking at the filter fitting, but upon further inspection I determined it was actually leaking from the horizontal joint of the pump head. When I took the pump out today all the head screws were tight and there's no obvious tearing on the new diaphragm. There is no o ring for the head. Any ideas on what to do with this short of replacement?
