Shur flo fresh water pump issue

Do you by chance have a 2000 era Jabsco plastic two piece accumulator? That era they glued the two halves together. Now they bolt them together. Mine split at the glue seam and pumped gallons of water into the bilge when I was gone one day. I ended up just removing the accumulator since the two new Aqua King pumps I installed didn’t need it.
I’ve got a Jabsco expansion tank but it is steel and shows no signs of leaking. I’ll need to just vacuum the bilge dry and then look for where the water begins to accumulate and back trace the leak. Since I can turn off all systems except the master head and the pump still cycles, I’m betting on that circuit is where my leak is.

Well it took less than five minutes to find my leak! I decided to do what I should have done in the first place, check to easy to look at places first. I found the fitting into the toilet flush valve leaking, water was just running through the hole with all the hoses under the toilet right into the aft bilge. Tightened up the fitting and one problem fixed. Since I had the new pump and it was said to be quieter than the shut flo, I decided to change it out. I found out one reason for how loud it was. It was screwed to the fiberglass stringer that runs the length of the boat. Carver built hollow stringers 20 inches tall and eight inches wide at the base and about 5 inches wide at the top. They are plenty strong but make great drums! I relocated the pump to the bottom of a shelf directly over head of the original pump position. The shelf across the two center stringers is 3/4 plywood so it does not transmit the pump noise as efficiently. I can hear a faint pump noise now but it has have been cut by 75%. I noticed though that the pump runs immediately when water is called for and for several seconds when turned off. I was thinking maybe my expansion tank needs to be serviced. It needs to be replaced! I depressed the shrader valve core and out shot water so the diaphragm is shot. Oh well, it is a 21 year old boat so these things need to be addressed from time to time.

Hey all my pump won’t shut off and I can’t build pressure the only time it works is when I have a hose running wide open in the tank fill I guess the pressure from the hose primes it I would like to replace the pump any suggestions on what gpm I should get the current one when it decides to work is only strong enough to have pressure at one faucet at a time it’s a 06 280 dancer
