These exterior seals look like are pressed into the windshield channels. Some have drawn back up to 2" from the corners (shrunken). Are they cosmetic or do they have a more primary purpose of keeping water out? Either way I'd like to replace them with new material but they are not noted in the SR parts manual. It seems like a DIY type of job too. Does any one have experience with replacing these seals into the channels and know where to buy them?
Thanks in advance.

There are lots of threads on this. I'll try to find the latest and post the link. It's a Taylor Made seal and is cosmetic. It doesn't seal out water. You can only get it from a sea Ray dealer unless you call Taylor Made direct and don't tell them it's for a Sea Ray. I bought 55' of it last year to redo my windows. I went through Sea Ray dealer and paid a little over $200.
