Title says it all - master head shower draining slowly, turned out to be shrunken black rubber seal blocking 50% of drain. Simple fix - if you can figure out how to access the bottom of the shower??? Kick panel in salon? In through galley cabinets? I'm stumped, but that is nothing new...

Mark, I can only offer some info based on other boats I've either worked on or owned, but not specifically your boat. If there's a carpeted kick panel below the head door, try that. There should be screws in the kick panel, although they will be "hidden" or "buried" in the carpet. Start in the corners and feel around for them. If this is it, it's easy peasy. Well... getting the kick panel off is easy peasy, anyways! :smt001

I had the same problem on my 01 380 dancer.
If you have a cabin floor storage compartment right in front of the shower, pull the hatch up and look right towards the shower. You should be able to see the drain line from the shower.
Remove the hose clamp and pull the drain line off the hose barb. Don't be surprised when you see a clump of shower goop!! Clean it out and replace the hose and the hose clamp. Workes great now. I'll do mine every 6 months now.
