Bob, where did you get the steering wheel from?
Bob, where did you get the steering wheel from?
Thanks Bob! FP was sold out of your wheel until May, so I picked one that was similar. https://www.searay-parts.com/Custom-Steering-Wheel-Cherry-Premium-p/stwhw350.htmhttps://www.searay-parts.com/Custom-Steering-Wheel-Cherry-p/stwhw370.htm
be sure and select the ¾" tapered hub.

I bought this last October. Traded out the "lion" center hub with my original Sea Ray wheel hub. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Boat-Steering-wheel-W-Adapter-3-spoke-boats-with-3-4-tapered-key-Marine/132212480613?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
Thanks, I think it is one of the best layouts Sea Ray ever done. Cumberland is bigger than most people think, More shore line than Fl. The bigger boat makes it nice when your on the hook for days. But I'm not telling you anything you don't already know LOL. The hardest thing was getting use to backing it in our slip, It is 18' wide,42' deep, covered. So I have a bit sticking out. Installed the Yacht controller about 2 months after getting it. Worth every penny. Wife and I handle it all the time with no help.Great looking boat - That's got to be a monster for Lake Cumberland
I second that... mine is in the background in the grass ......it’s how I get away with out paying transient feesLove my boat but I have more fun on this on a flat water weekday morn, just me and the herons.View attachment 97926

We are at Conley Bottom. Sorta in the middle of the lake so a nice day cruise gets you to either end and back. Conley is more quite and layed back than State dock and Jamestown. If you ever get close look us up. Would be nice for river access. But being tied up in a nice cove with 10 or 12 other boats for the weekend makes up for it.Completely understand. I grew up boating on Cumberland, mostly around Connely Bend area but would run as far as our 19' bow rider would let us or until we ran out of beer back in those days. I assume you're at Jamestown? I really like Cumberland and it's on our potential retirement list, if it only had access to the river systems it would be 100% for me.
Great boating weather will be there soon.

too bad Larson and Rinker bit the dust this past year they boat made great boats. perhaps they resurface the way Chris Craft and Carver did.I always liked Larson. Congrats. What sailboat? While back I fell in love with a late 80’s Pearson 31 but the wife wasn’t having any part of a sailer. I still have the brochure and pull it out when she ain’t around.
I greatly enjoyed the dichotomy of your two posts today - 1.) "more shoreline then Florida" and then 2.) being in the middle allows you to get "to either end and back" in a day. Rather illuminating on how they are measuring shoreline in Lake Cumberland!
It takes quite a boat to get from Jacksonville to Miami and back in a day!
Lake Cumberland - Wikipedia

At 760 feet (232 m) elevation, the shoreline of Lake Cumberland is 1,255 miles (2,020 km). At maximum possible elevation of 760 feet (232 m), Lake Cumberland is considered to be 101 miles (163 km) long, with a total surface area of 65,530 acres (265 km2).
Average depth: 27.4 metres (90 ft)
The shoreline of Lake Cumberland — at the theoretically maximum possible level of water — is 1,255 miles. Contrariwise, the coastline of Florida (not including islands) is 770 miles in length. ... Over 4.7 million visitors spent 73,252,200 hours for recreation at Lake Cumberland in 1999.
All good, I just take the shortcut!! LOLI googled the same, hence my post. I wasn't challenging your position only commenting on the way it's measured. Lake Cumberland is 30 miles long if you drive down the middle....Florida is, well, a bit longer...
Harry that is a beautiful boat. Way to be proud! It's not a new boat but we've worked hard in our life and we got this one and we're working hard to keep it pristine. So far so good. We love it.

Where are you on Chesapeake. Got our first boat in November. We are keeping at Fairlee creek. This is our boat. My wife and I had a great first year with her last season. We learned a ton (our first ever boat), met great people, and ventured out for some longer trips up and down the Chesapeake Bay.
We’re looking forward to another great season and planning several week long trips this summer. This season can’t come fast enough!View attachment 99830
