I have a 28' Criss Craft I need to have towed from the dock in Washington (on Maine Ave.) to the travel lift about a half dozen miles downriver at Fort Washington. The boat hasn't been started for a couple of years and I am shipping it to Louisiana to a fishing camp we have on the bayou, where it will be fully repaired and restored. The only local towboat company will do it but their charge is highway robbery and not covered by my towing insurance because it is a pre-existing condition. I would rather pay somebody who would enjoy a couple hours of 5 mph cruising and making a few hundred dollars. If anybody wants to do this let me know! I am shooting to have it done in the coming days, otherwise the towing company will be a little richer.
