Ok lots happened this past weekend so not sure if its a single problem or multiple? Found shore power cord undun and batteries dead when heading out last Thursday. Plugged in and waited and eventually had enough juice to start the engine and went for a two hour ride to our weekend spot...house batteries (2) didn't have a lot of juice so plugged in the honda gen and it seemmed toi run everything fine but didn't seem to charge the batteries...by Saturday pump for water wouldn't work along with many DC accesories? Decided to head home ..start battery did its job but all the way home we were loosing voltage until
down to zero when we pulled into our slip...and after that nothing not even a click when I turn the key..Plugged into shore power for a few days...firdge and lights worked but batteries still dead...Do I need new batteries? is there a breaker that needs to be checked..is the converter screwed...all of the above...

Thanks

Donnie

Start with the easiest--test the batteries. If you don't have a proper tester, you can bring them to WM or some place. But first check with your marina, they may have a yard guy that would do a quick, free, battery check.

Sounds like you need new batteries. You may also want to test your charger and alternator.

I agree. The voltage slowly going to until it hot "zero" while underway usually spells out a bad alternator.
