Hi all...finally boating season is here, i have a real rookie question....when docked and plugged into shore power, what exactly should it run with the batteries turned completely off?
Thanks in advance

If it wired like most it will power all 120v AC outlets, any 120v light fixtures/appliances and your battery charger/power inverter. - Jeff

Thanks Jeff, but how about the radio? it seems i have to turn the batteries on to run that? would that make sense?

As long as your radio is 12v, it will only run when the battery is turned on. By turning the battery off, you are eliminating power to all the 12v devices on the boat (with the exception of the bilge pump, which should be wired so that it bypasses the battery switch). If you have shore power hooked up, there should be no problem using battery power as long as your battery charger is working.

there is a charger, not real sure if it is a smart charger....
