Happy New Year Everyone!!

i would like your advice on the best way to add shore power to my boat. Currently i have a shore power plug on my boat and when i plug it into shore power i can see on the power panel that there is power. However, when i pull the panel off of the cabinet nothing is connected from the main power coming into the boat to any of the other circuits. Ideally i would like to have shore power keep my batteries charged and run the lights, fridge etc...

Can you tell me what i need to purchase in order to make this work?

Thanks

Wait, are you saying Sea Ray installed a power panel and didnt connect anything inside it? If that's the case, do you have breakers or anything for the components? At min, you'll need breakers for your various items. Battery Charger, Lights (if they are going to be AC)... Is your fridge AC/DC or DC only? Do you have any power outlets? regards,

Is this something that a previous owner installed? If so, and if it isn't working properly, you may want to have someone who is comfortable with electric to take a look at it to see what you have going on there.
It could be something simple that you can fix yourself, or it may need professional intervention.

Agree. Emphasis on Marine because it is a completely different animal than a house. This is no place for amateurs.
