I recently purchased a 240DA with shore power. I have some questions that I am confused about. I have read the owners manual, and believe that I am confident that I can connect to shore power safely. My dilemna is the owners manual confuses me. I understand that the AC panel has some items that must be turned on, but I am confused on the DC side. Example the Micro, Battery chargers etc. are on the AC panel. The DC section has the Head system, stereo, etc. Once I am on shore power do I also turn the DC switches on so that I will have the head system, stereo etc. This is confusing. Maybe someone can explain it to me......:huh:

Yes, some items only work on DC power (batteries). When connected to shore power turn on your AC Inverter (battery charger) which will keep your batteries charged.

On my 260DA some items run DC only, some are AC only, and some can run on both (fridge for example). When on shore power, you will still need to flip the DC switches for the items that are DC only (stereo, head, etc). Also make sure to have the battery charger enabled on the AC so the items that are running on DC don't drain the battery!
