looking for information on trucking a 410 sundancer from Florida to RI need the hight measurement from bottom of shafts without props to the top of arch with no equipment

The owners manual should have a drawing which gives a ton of incremental measurements. I have not looked at the 410 Dancer manual, but every other SR manual I have seen that has measurements.

You should be able to find the manual on the SR website.

Why not take it on the water? If you want help doing that let me know.

I’m not sure of the exact requirement (maybe 14’), but I shipped a 2001 410 from Tarpon Springs FL to Atlanta GA last year. Props had to come off, the radar arch striped and needed a low boy trailer. Cost was about $7 a mile. They did have to break out a measuring tape once it was loaded on the trailer and make some small adjustments.

The one thing I didn’t do and really wish I had done was shrink wrap the boat to protect it from road grime and grease. With that boat, I would consider running it closer by water, trucking is hard on a boat.

Here is the dimensions. 12’ 9” is the basic dimension.

I think you'll find the cost to deliver by water and land nearly the same and take nearly the same amount of time. I had two boats quoted to ship from FL to MA both by truck and water using a professional delivery captain as I could not be sure I would have the time.

If your dead set on trucking you can save a considerable amount of money by not going through NY or CT. Have it dropped in NJ and go the rest of the way by water. The tolls and oversize loads permits and time of day restrictions in NY and CT add a lot of expense to the trip.

You might be much better off hiring a Captain to run it up for you.
Got some rough numbers when I was looking at boats a couple of years ago. Consensus was to truck to New Jersey then run it the rest of the way on its own bottom. Trucking across NY raised the price significantly.
I got skidish about it. Didn’t want a marina or boatyard strange to me down south taking it apart, and then another one strange to me putting it back together so I could take it the rest of the way to Long Island on it’s own bottom.
In the end, I got lucky and found a boat in northeast Connecticut and ran it around to the south shore of Long Island myself.

Sandy C.....I have a guy here in Virginia that will run her on her own bottom. PM me if interested, and I can connect you.

this.

This is a bucket list trip and one of the great side benefits of buying somewhere else on the coast. I just went through a search - had visions of bringing her home up the ICW or down through the East River. Ended up buying one in Middle River - the next river up the Bay... ugh. Guess I’ll have to make my own bucket list trips!
