Are talking about the black plastic knob?
Mine is cracked and loose and moves around on me which can be a real PITA when docking.
How are they even attached? Thought there may be a set screw but didnt notice any.
Mine is a single with the trim button on top.

trim switch on top mine started to get loose and the fact that it walked up a bit put too much pressure on the sides when pushing throttle forward it cracked
