Just replaced the shift cable. I didn't look to see the way it

was routed in thru the transom up to the linkage.

Can anyone lend a hand?

Thanks in advance,

They usually do a wide wrap around the Y pipe to keep it away from moving/hot parts and avoid tight bends. The service manual usually shows the routing, too.

Thanks Keokie,

You were correct. It comes out of the transom, bends left

between the Y pipe and the engine block then loops to the

right & up to the linkage.

I found an older picture that shows it.
