When the stern drive is in forward gear, the shift lever is supposed to be straight ahead 12 oclock, with neutral at 11 oclock and reverse at 10Oclock. That is the way the lower unit is, however with the lower unit removed, the upper shift lever in the upper housing will go from 1 oclock for forward 12 oclock for neutral, and 11 oclock for reverse. Is the shift lever on the upper shift shaft adjustable? I purchased this boat from someone and the reverse never worked, but it looks like a fairly new cable? Any ideas
