This is from a Garmin NMEA 2000 backbone power supply. I understand the red goes to positive and black ground. What do I do with the shield drain wire, shiny silver?

Thanks

One note - if you have a shield drain connection available on both ends of the wire (probably doesn't apply in this case, but I've seen it elsewhere), only one end should be connected to ground.

It exists to pick up/block induced signal/current, and tying both ends to ground actually makes a complete circuit and kills the benefit.
