We have a new front runner in the "spotless bilge" category!

I noticed it too! It's really sad when people let their boats go to he!! like that!

Guilty, someone's been slacking!!. I'd fire my detail 'crew',
but I need the work....:smt043

P.S. What works good for cleaning the actual bilge? I also seem to have some mildew on the rear corners of the transom / aft hull section. Product suggestions?

I really admire your achievement! I had all kinds of high hopes for working in the bilge this winter, but never got that far. My bilge doesn't look bad, but I really want it to get to this same level.
Do you spray your engine down with the Mercruiser preservative?

I had to go back and look at the pic, when I found the tiny blemish, I literally "laughed out loud". I'll be happy when my engine room looks 1/2 that good! That looks NEW!

Jeff left a hanging curve ball over the plate so....

The boat is beautiful (as is the bilge) Jeff, I just could not help myself! - Welcome to CSR!
(especially since steaming the bilge was on my list for this winter and never got done)

I think you should replace your phone as the lens is dirtier than your bilge..LOL

Another one that spotted that drip under the oil filter-that's just being lazy and cutting corners.

HA! That looks awesome man good job!

I used several types of degreasers- simple green seems to do as good as any. Followed with a coat of armor-all type stuff.. As you can imagine, elbow grease is what really gets in the nooks an crannys.
The power plant gets a regular dose' of Silicon type product- The latest I've been using is a Yamaha marine version-
As tempted as I am to 'wax' the bilge, it seems a bit overboard.
even for me..
Also, note that my vessel stays OUTSIDE during the winter. so every, raindrop, pollen ball, and tree drippings gets a turn at my handi-work.. today, my boat is a nice hue of yellow....

Ridgerunner, you're my hero. I think that's the cleanest bilge I have ever seen!
Thanks. I'll trade you a clean bilge with a 350 for a dirty one w/ a pair of 3126 cats. ?? lol, thanks again for the comp.

Mine's a lot better then it was when I bought it. Spent a day in it cleaning a couple of weeks ago. Figure by the end of April she will be where I'll be happy with so must politely decline your offer!!
