Can I use my AMFM antenna for a TV antenna?

It's not going to work very well, possibly for analog if there are any around. But the frequency bands are quite different. Also not for the digital channels.

Really depends on where your trying to watch OTA channels. If your close enough, it’s easy. If your boondocking, it’s a whole other story. Lots of OTA a strength apps online. If your trying to get better reception, get a newer antenna.

On my boat, I had 2 antenna mounts on the arch. I made the starboard side a dedicated VHF antenna, and added a AM/FM dedicated 8’ antenna on the port, and the number and quality of stations improved dramatically. But I ditched the TV antenna because where we boat is outside the range of the stations we would prefer to watch.
 
We are going to try a Fire Stick, we get great WiFi at the dock. I was just going to try the antenna route first
