The Boston Boat show will be here next week. My listing broker has a booth there all week. I want to determine a reasonable asking price for my boat to help it move before the spring. The broker (back in the fall) advised me to list it very high, leaving a lot of negotiating room. However, no interest. Now, I would like move it.

I know NADA means very little. Is Yachtworld a better indicator on market value? I want to sell it reasonably, but keep in mind that I am not desperate and do not need to, nor want to give it away.

The most current BUC used boat price guide has it listed at 26,600.00 low to 29,500.00 high. This is without a trailer. I'm a broker in northern Michigan and this is the most honest "blue book" used. I found a few on boat trader online and they range from 25-37k. I usually have my customers look on there to get a feel of what thier going for, then price from there. It will also matter to the buyer if it's a fresh or salt water boat. Good luck with your sale.
