Sedan Bridge 400 with Cat engines

I am looking to buy a 1996 Sedan Bridge 400 this week with low hour cat engines and I was curious if there is anything special I should know about the engines on this boat. I also wanted to know if anybody could tell me what kind of fuel consumption I could expect.

Which Cats?

ie: one particular C-12 rated at 660 hp is scheduled to burn 34 gph at rated.

The 400DB has either 350 hp 3116's (22.6 gph) or 420 hp 3126's (26.0 gph).

Don't buy this boat with these engines unless you have a thorough engine survey done by a Caterpillar mechanic............and one of the best in the business is down the road in Ft. Meyers and he travels.
