Seattle/Everett Opening Day of boating 2013

Does anyone have plans to head out to Seattle or Everett's Opening day of boating on May 4th?
If you do go to the crew races the UW manages the log boom on the East side of the Montlake cut. We may be heading out for the day.

Thought you were going out for opening of shrimp that day we'll be somewhere between Des Moines and Elliot Bay. Spoke with a diver last week he said spot shrimp were covering the bottom at 60' by Duwamish Head.

We're undecided at this point. I'll update here and elsewhere when it gets closer and we figure out what we're doing.
