Hi All
My wife and I are planning to go to our first boat show in Seattle. Can anyone reccommend a good hotel for us to stay at close to the boat show. I'm assuming its downtown?
Thanks
Ray

Hi:

Stay near Lake Union; the floating show is out there, and they run shuttles to the CenturyLink Events Center, where the other part of the show (static displays and vendors) are. There are a number of new hotels in that area, near Mercer Street, Eastlake, and others.

Otherwise, plan to stay near the stadiums (not as nice) and take the shuttles the other way.
Good luck!

Stay at the Silvercloud on 1st Ave S. and Edgar Martinez blvd. It's right accross the street from the boat show. It's a nice hotel.

I usually stay at the Marriott Residence Inn right across from the South East corner of Lake Union from the water venue of the boat show. There is a free shuttle that runs back and forth between Lake Union and Century Link Field where the indoor venue resides. Lots of good restaurants at the water show site.

I'm heading to it today around noon. I'm looking forward to it.

I went with my Admiral, her brother and my twins. I need to go back by myself to not be rushed. I have a couple extra tickets that I can use this upcoming week.

What I did see, there are some things that look nice and a little more refined over last year, but I have to say I really like my boat and it's layout.

Hey It's the new Sea Ray 345 Sedan Bridge at the end of Row A. I'm on the site! Thanks for the tip. I'm going to head to the show on Wed this week. I'm looking for a new refridgerator. I hope I can find a deal. How is the engine project coming?

Jeff

See anything interesting Todd? I was going to fly in, but have too many things going on. I also didn't get the impression LU Sea Ray was going to have many boats there. The brokerage boats on Lake Union are always fun, but nothing jumped out at me when I looked at what was being shown there.

One of our close boating friends (and marina neighbor) has a 391. I've been on it countless times and have never seen or noticed anything I would consider negative. The flybridge is quite large and really set up for entertaining. Same for the cabin spaces.
