Amen to Reisner, McEwen & Associates. I've used them for two surveys. I was very happy with the quality of their survey and the report they did upon completion of the survey.

You may want to look in Canada for a boat with the US dollar high. Under NAFTA all you pay is State and local tax if the boat was made in US, Canada or Mexico. If you buy in Canada make sure your US insurance company will accept the Canadian survey.
