Seat Back Removal on 2001 Sea Ray 190 Sundeck

I am recovering my seats and have taken out and redone all the bottoms, so the easy ones are out and done. I also took out the seat and back on the engine cover and re-did those. My question is I had to take nuts off the lock-bolts on the engine over seats and is that how I get the seat backs off or is there some magical way. Thanks for any help!

Do you have a carpeted storage area behind those bow seats?
I did the same cushions in my 240. There were Phillips head screws hidden by the carpeted material used on the walls of the storage area in front of the helm.

For the port side, I had to remove the ceiling of the bathroom to access the screws. VERY TIME CONSUMING!

I guess I'll find out tomorrow when we go in there and try and get those off. It seems like with the bottom seats out it should be easy to find out if it's going to be a killer or not LOL.
