Searching for fisrt owners

Hi

would it be possible to find the fisrt owners of our "new" boat. There is a plate that says: Randall & Cathy Brodersen.

there is no spesific reason, just would be nice to tell them that the boat is in excellent shape and located here in Finland. Its a Sea Ray 300 sedan bridge year 1989

I found the original owners name in the owners manual packet and was able to find them via many Google searches. Broderson is not a super common name, like Smith, so that is in your favor. Have you found where the boat was originally sold? That was also a big help.

Unfortunately i dont have the original documents anymore, since the boat is quite old and has been in several hands on the way. The plate in the dinett is the only lead. This might be stupid anyway but for me this plate is part of her history and since it is now here, on the other side of the world, it would have been nice for them to have an echo from the past.

I use white pages search all the time and tried randall broderson for the entire us. happens to be one associated with a Cathy.

I would think Sea Ray customer service would be able to at least tell you the name of the dealer the boat was delivered by when new if you provide them with the hull ID. That would give you a good idea of region to start looking.

Probably a 50/50 chance the dealer is still around. I know quite a few have closed or consolidated in recent years. If nothing else, you can surely find the city.

we left the 'welcome to our boat' plaque up when we bought her. Joe and Sue Clemmons. Never did look them up just felt good having that on the door.

I bought mine from the original purchaser...nice lady
almost made me feel bad for making the offer she accepted.
