Searching CSR archives? What the heck

I have tried all kinds of things to search CSR for previous threads on several topics. I feel like I need a trip on the short bus to CSR archive school. Can someone please explain the process to me in a child like manor.

:thumbsup:. Use Google's advanced search. The internal search feature really sucks in this forum. No fault of the admin though, just part of the package. I'd be nice if the admin could just hook up the internal search to use Googles, like some other forums I've seen.

Do what is called a boolean search. In google, just put quotation marks on each side of the EXACT term you are looking for or at least type "clubsearay.com" and then key words.
It works like this: You are looking up "john Smith" millions of hits come up. You cannot scroll through all those post so you put in his middle inital "John C Smith" and less hits show up. Then if you really want to get snazzy, "John Cornelius Smith". You can do a simple Boolean search like: "clubsearay.com" "sport fish" and then even put in key words without the quotation marks. Just makes the ones without quotation marks not as important to the search as the ones with.

When you go to google to do your search, type site:clubsearay.com insert_search_terms_here It will limit your search results to the clubsearay.com domain and you won't have to mess around with the advanced search page.
