Search called off, mannequin presumed drowned

This does not exactly instill confidence in our local rescue department.

I’m not sure if I should laugh or cry.



……..officials say the Neenah-Menasha Fire Rescue department was conducting routine water rescue training on Lake Winnebago Thursday, when their training mannequin malfunctioned, causing it to sink.,………..the mannequin was wearing blue trunks, and is probably very stiff. The fire department is asking anyone who finds it to call the department…….

Unfortunately, they're looking for the real thing up here in Lake Carmi. :smt009 A 47 yr old man, his 5 yr old son and dog were out in a small rowboat, and their boat flipped, son and dog rescued, father is still missing and presumed drowned. The boy had his life jacket on thank goodness.
