Checked into our room today at the Grand Floridian and who would have thought? Just outside our window...

Apparently you can rent it for an evening and go watch the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom in the middle of Bay Lake...

Wonder how they even got in the lake... Boats too big for a forklift and I don't see any hoists anywhere on the lake... Guess it's gotta be somewhere..

It's magic. Teleportation.

The lift is located on the other side of World Dr off of Bay Lake at the northern most point.

We stay there for our yearly trip. I never asked how much for the ride but I always walk by it. I think it is a 560.

From the picture it's a 52DB.

Disney's come a long way. They used to rent Sea Rayders!

It's a 52...

Find out what they charge to rent it for a day. I'll take you out on mine for half what they charge and I'll supply the wine.

I was surprised to see it there, too, when we were down there last year - especially when I found out it never ventures off those two ponds... ummm... I mean lakes.

Did you see those little Sea Raycers, too? Little 2-seaters with a 9.9HP.

You're right - the older ones were those Water Mouse's. I "think" even those boats were some kind of joint venture between Sea Ray and Merc with Sea Ray building the hull. But I'm not entirely sure on that.

FYI... $600 per hour to rent
