SeaRay owner commandeering a Nordhavn

As a Sea Ray owner, I’ve admired Nordhavn trawlers for may years.

We finally decided to trick a Nordhavn owner into letting us use their boat, Aboard Mermaid Monster.

Don’t worry, its all good fun.

That's a gorgeous boat. I've also always admired Nordhavns. Love the fact they have their spin bike in the salon too! They are definitely by far the youngest Nordhavn owners I've ever seen. That's a $1.5m boat! Good for them.

The owners of Aboard Mermaid Monster Brooke & Branden are very nice, welcoming and fun. They are preparing to join a flotilla during a Atlantic Ocean crossing later this year.

Big fan of Nordhavn - I think if you are going to do a live aboard on a powerboat that is the way to go. I follow Mermaid Monster on their YouTube channel.

I follow those guys on youtube. I believe the husband works in insurance on the west coast. You know how those insurance guys can make out....

never been a fan of Nord's. My impression is it is a very well built boat. Very sea worthy - cross the atlantic type of boat.

But the ones we have been on there are too many levels. Too many 2 or 3 steps up and 2 or 3 steps down.
