Short story:

Bought a brand new boat a few months ago. The invoice said it should come w/ the carpet but the dealer said they didn't receive a carpet. Dealer then told me it would be a very high price to order the carpet. (2.5x what it would cost if ordering on a new boat)

I am willing to pay the price as it would be on a new order, but 2.5x is robbery. I called SeaRay to see what could be done. They're shipping a brand new carpet kit.

They just made my day!

That's great. I assume you know you'll have to install the snaps yourself, or get the dealer to do it. (hopefully for no charge!)

Your dealership probably got a phone call from Sea Ray Corporate. If carpet was on the invoice. You should have gotten carpet.

Glad they took care of it, but to the dealer - really? How much $$ for that boat and they want to jack you up over the cockpit carpet, even when it is listed on the invoice.

Agreed. Dealer should have made the phone call to SR and made it right for you.

I've been equally impressed with SR Customer Service. I've called them and emailed them several different times for things I have been looking for or wondering about on my boat. They have always been VERY helpful.
