Hey gang, I am looking for a little information, thoughts or ideas.

A friend of mine is looking for a boat and he has been going through the Searay archive’s and found the Searay Cuddy fisherman models. (picture below)

We are looking to do some Salmon and Halibut fishing in the Neah Bay, Sekiu, San Juans, areas or what I have heard people call bigger water areas.

I have not been up to those areas yet but have heard the water or waves can be a bit rough being so close to the ocean. Perhaps it’s all just rumors,
but I am curious if the Cuddy fisherman is the wrong type of boat for that area or should a weekender or another model be chosen that has
more protection from the elements.(Wind, rain, wave spray, etc) or perhaps I am just over thinking it which is usually the case.

Does anybody have one of these models that you could share some info.
