I am looking for OEM parts for my SeaRay Express Bridge. Some cosmetic repair needed and I would like to continue to keep the boat as close to factory parts as possible. Is there anyone out there who can give me any information on a dealer or second hand parts depot.

What are you looking for?
I have pretty much gone through every system on my boat in the past 4+ years.
I was repo in pretty good shape, but I did not have a lot of service records so I just started anew.

Post up a picture or 2. There aren't many of us around this board.

Daniel,

I am looking for various pieces of hardware such as the door locks/handle mechanisms for the storage compartments on either side of the sliding glass door, the tambour sliding doors for the interior storage compartments, the dash and instrument panels (both require replacement), and the front hatch lift/locking mechanisms for the protal over the berth.
Just a few of the things that I would like to repalce. Is there a particular store aor dealer that was able to help you out with parts?
Thanks
Mark

Thanks Ron,

I already have the Owners manual and the parts listing for the SeaRay Express Bridge. I appreciate your effort and assistance. I was realy hoping for a dealer or aftermarket source for the parts. I have tried a local SeaRay dealer and he has not been able to help me out yet.
Do you have any sources for your repair/replacement endevors?

The only thing I've needed so far was louvres for engine room vents, which are still available at MM. I did need hinges for the locker door in the second statroom but I bought them at Lowes. I also replaced all the drawer handles from the plastic to brushed nickle (also from Lowes). Replaced galley and head faucets with Delta and American Standard stuff (the SR OEM ones were chrome over plastic or some such garbage). I couldn't wait to throw them in the trash.

As far as dash panels, you're going to have to have those custom made. There's a guy here on CSR that does a fantastic job with those. Regarding the forward hatch locking mechanism and hinge, I'm thinking you'd have to replace the entire hatch - Not sure who the maker is but they are still around - maybe it's Bomar??

As Ron said, Most of the hardware can be replaced with Home Depot or Lowes stuff.
I am replacing the tombour materials as the PO tried to stain it a cherry/burgandy color.

I picked up the materials from Flounder Pounder, but have seen other sources for it just by using google.

I believe the front hatch is a Bowmar, I will look later this week.
You should be able to get replacement parts direct from them.

Scott from vector should be able to make new dash panels for you.
If you need pictures of the originals let me know and I will forward some to you.

I also recovered my salon table with a granite looking laminate last season and got rid of the stupid 24" round table on the starbord side and made a smaller version of the port side table.

Then removed carpeting on the floor this spring, along with the stairs and installed new Jatoba Stairs and Brazilian Cherry Flooring.

LOVE the flooring. How'd you affix it?

Ron

Thanks

The flooring materials was purchased from Lumber Liquidators.
It is Shon Engineered Flooring in 4" Brazillian Cherry.
It is glued down with some perimeter nailing.
I tried to keep the nailing to a minimum except around the sump hatch, which was covered with the 'T' moulding.

The stairs are made out of 2" Jatoba Cherry which is just old growth Cherry.
I used the originals as templates.

Believe me when I tell you I probably pulled out a million and one staples from the stairs and floor covering. And this was from carpet that had been replace once already.

But well worth it as it really gives the boat a more up to date look along with the tables.

I hope you used "marine" nails ;-)

Do you still have your 350 Express Bridge? I’d love to pick your brain.
