Hi,
I'm new to this club, and yet I have picked up so many great tips.
A joy to be part of this club.
Where is the best place to feed the cable for the transponder on the fishfinder?
I have done a few searches, but could not locate a definitive answer.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Where did you PUT the transducer? Is it a transom mount or is it in the engine compartment? Usually, the wires follow the rest of the wires from the engine compartment. If it's a transom mount, installers put a hole in the transom ABOVE the waterline where the wire can enter and follow the rest of the wires to the helm.

Transducer is fitted externally, approx 15 inches right of the inboard motor on the transom. The display head of the unit is fitted on the lhs of the boat, so the cable from transducer to head could be an issue for me, hence the query.
