Seacock Drain Plug Drain -

My boat has Apollo Seacocks with Groco strainers. Does anyone recommend a type of wrench or drive to remove the small drain plug in the Seacock. The smallest wrench I had on the boat was 3/8" anyone know what size the square drain plug is? They are hard to reach and there is not a lot of room. Do you use a 12 star socket? If so anyone know a size.

On another note. Does the dealer sell extra drain plugs - they seem easy to lose.
