Anyone ever use this mount, or a similar one from SeaView?
how did it work out?
Was the quality of construction good?

Hi Bill,

I know you have been in contact with the other Jason here at PYI about this mast, but I wanted to respond to this post assuring you that we pride ourselves on superior quality and service second to none. Please note that we build the Beneteau arches http://www.seaviewglobal.com/en/products/308

Please refer to our 2016 Seaview catalog with many great testimonials from boat & the electronic manufacturers. http://www.seaviewglobal.com/system/attachments/Seaview_2016_Catalog.pdf

One quote found on pg 16 from Brunswick (Meridian / SeaRay).
"Meridian Yachts is one of the top selling bridge boatbrands in the world. Superior design and provenmaterials make the Meridian fleet among the fineston the water. Meridian has partnered with PYI Inc,Seaview because of a shared promise to deliverexceptional quality and value to its customers. I am happy to send more references and testimonials if you would like.

I have similar mount, but without the spreader and searchlight. I have zero issues with quality and when I had an idea about adding spreaders, the SeaView support was great.

I would not hesitate investing in another mount from SeaView.

Jason,

Thanks for the link. The pictures you sent are for sailboats. If you have any for my particular boat, with a custom mast please send me a PM. My main concern is weight distribution and attachment points, and suitable anchor points around the sliding sun roof. I know there are not a whole of them out there since my boat is more prevalent in Europe.

I spoke to the other Jason last month and he was very helpful. I am on 4 different boat forums, so I always like to hear from other folks directly about a product I am interested in. This web stuff is a powerful tool. When I figure out the electronic package and other gizmos I will get back to you. But don't be surprised if you see more inquires pop up on the web from me in the future. :)

We have a similar (but different) Seaview mount on our 420, installed about 2 years ago by the previous owner. It was installed to mount a new M3 satellite dish and clear the open array. So I didn't select it, but it looks really nice and the quality looks good to me. I can't seem to attach a photo (file size too big) so I need to re-learn how to include attachments
