Sea Trial

Finally did our sea trial this morning. Just like glass out there. To bad it was raining like crazy. Has anyone who has a new 310 had any problem with the props. The RPM's are to high. They have swapped props already and still have the same problem.

Stern Drives or V-Drives? What kind of speeds and RPM's are you seeing?

V-Drives. At full throttle 5000 rpm's we weren't getting the speed. We were going around 27 knotts. They have replaced the props already and are waiting for an ok from Sea Ray to swap again.

I thought Sea Ray tested every boat and kept performance records. How could that slip by?

Same way the oil leak occured and the gasket for the head not being seated right.
