Does anyone know if Sea Tow is still operating in Lake Erie? I have used them since 2004 - first with Sea Tow Cleveland and then with Sea Tow Port Clinton. However, I just looked at their website and their location finder does not show any Sea Town captains within 100 miles of Port Clinton and the Lake Erie islands. I am thinking of not renewing and picking up Boat US Unlimited towing. if anyone has info, that would be great. Thanks!

I can't answer questions about Sea Tow but can say that I have frequently seen Tow Boat U.S. in Islands area. I have the Unlimited Towing from Boat U.S. and fortunately, I've never had to use their service.

Thank you for the reply. I've seen many Towboat US boats as well. I think I will probably switch over to BoatUS towing. Sea Tow doesn't seem to have a good presence on the Great Lakes anymore.

I agree with LTD. TowBoat US is all over the islands area, but it's been a long time since I've seen a Sea Tow up there.

Just as a heads up....Towboats will charge you $7500 to raise your boat if it sinks (depending on depth of course).....do NOT ask me how I know this. :smt089

And near Cleveland, The BoatU.S. tow service runs out of the Edgewater basin just to the west of the Cuyahoga River.
And +1 to the "I have the Unlimited Towing from Boat U.S. and fortunately, I've never had to use their service." :smt038
