I have been invited to the Sea Ray yacht show located at the main Sea Ray location.

Wondering if anyone has gone and is the potential deals they offer worth it or just wait until new incentives are provided in January

This is a premier selling event. By going you prequalify yourself as an interested potential buyer not a tire kicker. This event is done to sell boats not entertain people. If you express interest, expect to be "put in a box" and sold a boat. The price will depend upon 2 things: your dealer and the accomodations he is willing to make on his margin and on ordering a new boat; and on your ability to negotiate a deal. This isn't the time to be bashful....if you want a new boat, then this is by far the best time to do it and you will get pricing at Yacht Rendevouz that you will not see later at boat shows or the dealer.

One factor that it helps to understand is that Sea Ray is trying to fill manufacturing slots for the Dec- March production cycles in the factories. If you order a boat that can be produced then you'll get a huge break.

By far the best situation is to find a 2010 model at your dealer that you like and buy it at the Yacht Rendevouz. You get the left over discounbts plus whatever you can negotiate at the show provided the dealer agrees to take a different new boat produced during the time slot SR wants to fill.
