Sea Ray "Workshop Manual"?

I have both the owners manual and the parts manual for the 420AC. Is there such as thing as a workshop manual that tells you, for example, HOW to remove panels?

No, there is not. To the best of my knowledge your avenues are using a forum, like this one, talking to your local dealer's service dep't or emailing Sea Ray and asking for their help. Unfortunately, none of those ways are guarantees.

In general, though, most panels are typically held on via screws, through bolts or plastic "Christmas trees". Look for nearby access points that can be easily removed such as speakers or recessed lights, etc. Also, look between the "seams" of adjacent panels for hidden screws.

there is no such manual. sr dealers have access to "techman" - online site where some additional information could be posted on "how to..", but many times even dealers have to contact a plant to find how to remove some parts.

Yes, for the engine and drive a Mercruiser shop manual could be purchased. There are also aftermarket ones, such as Seloc.
