where Can I find a time line and descriptoin of Sea Ray boats? I have a 25ft 1981 255 Amberjack... i need a trailer in the worst way... in searching for a trailer I found A 26.5 sea ray sorrento with trailer and a bad motor 454 merc. guy is willing to take 2500.00 sooo.... he is telling me he thinks the boat is a 78' but he does not have the title right in front of him. So I was wanting to look it up to see the weight specs and all to make sure my boat would also work on that trailer... but I can not find a 78 sorrento... any thoughts? i know there is an 88 and maybe that is what he is thinking. The boat is 2 hours from me so I can not just run over after work.

I just did some quick looking on Sea Ray's site and, as you have probably seen, the "26.5", "Sorento" and "78" or even "88" don't match up. I would ask him to get the right boat information in front of him along with the HID off of the boat, not a title, and to answer a few questions for you. Any type of plate on the trailer? Are the bunks adjustable? Did the trailer come with the boat in question?

ps.... If you do buy his boat & trailer, do you have a way do get his boat off and plans for it? Its not like you can just drop it off in the back yard. I'm sure you have thought of this. I'm just sayin'.
