So I spent fri. sat. and sun. polishing and waxing my butt off thanks to all you guys who post pic's of these perfect sea rays with a MIRROR-LIKE shine on them, and I can't even stand-up straight right now but that is a different post so i will just take 3 advil and shut-up about that. But ...on fri. I notice a 36 sb, 2007 right next to me (indoors) being worked on by 2 guys....after all day I start to notice what they are doing . New windshield and new venturi windshield for the bridge.?? So I say hey wat-up? (my daughters vernaculer) and they explain that they are from palm-coast sea ray doing repairs on a 2007 36 that was sold as-new to someone(it would be a little wierd if they are on csr without me knowing) recently. They said the repairs they were making were cosmetic in nature not structural, and they were doing some "other stuff" as well. So, for 2 days I was working side-by-side with these guys, who said they would be done by monday. Kinda cool. Which describes how they were to me. polite tho....kinda cool

Are you at Portland Boat Works?

Your cool, and polite....that made them cool and polite........ its nice to be nice to people...:smt001

no...yankee boat, not portland boat.... I'm cool and polite? I was WAY more nice to them than was reciprocated. But understand something here. They WERE NOT un-polite, they WERE polite. They didn't seem to want to talk too much

If I was paying someone by the hour to work on my boat that is exactly how I would like them to act - Polite but cool --- just keep on working, don't stop until the works done.

Guys, these are factory workers who are there to fix a boat, not be good will ambassadors.

Look at it from their standpoint......they are most likely intimidated by the owners who can afford the boats they build. Next time, buy their lunch and ask about their wives and kids, or what kind of truck they drive and they'll probably loosen up.

I fuel up at Yankee every once in a while. I was at Portland Boat Works a couple of years ago but moved back down river. The boat is at Petzolds for the winter as it is closer for me to check on. Maybe I will see you on the river this summer.

Dam, I was over at Riverside working on my boat. I would of love to meet them. Never know when a contact can be useful.

Thats exactly why there cool......they don't want to be bothered
with questions about this and that, they just want to do there work...........
