Sea Ray Noob....

    Just became a first time Sea Ray owner this past weekend and enjoying it after a long hiatus from boating. Prior boat many years ago was a 19 ft, 1985 American Skier so this is a bit new to me.

    The new boat is a 2005 280DA with twin 4.3's and is definitely more boat than what I've dealt with in the past. Spent the past weekend on a short offshore trip and about an hour learning how to park it. Have enjoyed lurking on this forum in the past and looking forward to becoming an active member now!

    As for handling the new boat, practice practice practice. The more the better. Then it becomes second nature and you're prepared when things go wrong ;-)

    The only pic I have at the moment, more to follow. We are very fortunate to be able to park out back. Just brought her home last Friday.
