Sea Ray introduces nine new models

Well. . .they sure know how to generate excitement about new models, don't they?

Is there a PHOTO of one of these boats ANYWHERE?

No wonder NASA is having problems with the space shuttle the "Commanders" are all listening to their stereos and Ipods instead of paying attention to whats going on!!!

Now, if we could just get sea rays marketing team on the shuttle...

Oh... Gary, you forgot to mention the "Illuminated switch panel" in your sig...

That's what makes me feel like a mission control commander when I'm driving my boat....

The new September issue of Motorboating mag has a picture of the 47 Sedan Bridge. Even has a picture of the VHF and Sirius antennas...Sweet!

............. Shall I bring crayons to sign the paperwork?
Only if you bring your pack with the
"collection of identically sized, matched and balanced parafin sticks. This parafin is found in a vein exclusive to our Company's development and come in a Full array of the spectrum including hue balancers for your region and altitude"

I think this says it all:

"The soaring-above-the-sea vibe starts on the raised-bridge deck, where clear sightlines stretch in any direction. The skipper will feel like a mission-control commander in front of an amazing array of technology

I’m thinking marketing or advertising hired some new (as in very young) writers that are trying too hard with the copy. Can you take anyone seriously that uses the word “vibe

We oldsters have no use for such excessively descriptive nonsense. Given a shot, I could most likely write something “gooder†for them.

Gary,
I am guessing that thundering cathedrals of torque really bothers the earth firsters, so we can assume that Brunswick will not borrow my tag line....but thank goodness that there are people who fall for boat marketing BS. These are the folks will be trading those big diesel boats in at around two years and 80 hours on the mains for the next big shiny thing, which is where clean used boat guys like me make, or I should say keep, our money.

regards
Skip

I am looking to maximize my Carbon Foot print. Which is why was unsatisfied with my sailboat, and bought a power boat :).

But I am losing the carbon race with one of my friends: He flies, and his plane burns 35 gph.

As for boats. . .I prefer clean; although another friend goes for the skankiest he can find and fixes them up. He once saw a boat that had ducks NESTING IN THE CABIN, and got very excited.
