Sea Ray Homecoming Cruiser/Sport Boat Expo !! Here we go!

We're hoping they have the 235 Weekender with the 350 Mag to test drive. :smt001
 
Wayne, It will not be there since it is not made in the US. It is my understanding Sea Ray does not make any "cuddy" types in the US any more. I agree I was looking forward to seeing it. IMHO the smaller DA are nice, but boy do they have that "top heavy" feel to them.
 
The 235WE is shown on the Sea Ray website as a 2012 model for sale in the US and is shown on several dealer's websites. Since the Homecoming immediately follows the dealer's meeting, I suspect the boat will be in Knoxville, if it is in the 2013 line-up. However, I don't work for Sea Ray and am not sure. Rusty is away from his office doing "boatie-type" stuff today, but will verify whether or not the 235WE is available in the US and if it will be in Knoxville. He will respond when he knows something......tomorrow, I'll be doing "boatie-type" stuff.
 
Since watching the game from the Sea Ray corporate box isn't an option (they gotta have one, right), I picked up my two tickets to the UT-FL game today. All pre-work is now done and I'm ready for the big road trip.

True story on the 235 Weekender, we’re all right…..uh, and wrong. That model is available but is built in Europe for that market. Having to purchase a 235 Weekender would include shipping, ouch. We include all models on the web site so one can see worldwide coverage of a great product right up front.

We will talk on the dock after you review all the offerings Wayne and you tell me that only the 235 will do.

Ok first reason is due to an illness of my supervisor so I now have that position. 2nd is "delivery will be on Aug. 1st."
Want to try Sept. 14th. Heck that's only 45 days late.
 
Hard to believe, but we're only a little over a week out! We've come a long way to this point.

See you all in Knoxville on the 13th. Looking forward to meeting everyone and seeing Jim's restoration project in person....
